About This Location
Ute Lake State Park Campground Logan NM: The road in is Paved. There are 30 or more campsites at this location. You may stay 14 days at Ute Lake State Park. This reservoir on the Canadian River is one of the longest lakes in the state at nearly 13 miles, and boasts a variety of fun water sports.
I highly recommend Ute Lake State Park Campground Logan NM. I stayed in the primitive area near the dam for $10 a night. There were no other campers in the area on a Thursday night. Lucked up and got an area with trees and a fire pit.
The main camp has a boat ramp and over 100 sites. Some have water and electric, primitives are $10 with free WiFi! Chem toilets and good water with plenty of hydrants available, roofs over the picnic tables provide plenty of shade. Was able to pull in at 2pm Saturday of memorial day weekend and there where plenty of spots available. They only charged me $5 a night, could be because I’m on a motorcycle or I at least appear to be old.
Check out these other Free and Paid boondocking spots. They sit inside the great state of New Mexico, surrounded by wide-open spaces. Always follow the Leave No Trace principles when boondocking.
