About This Location
Twin Creek is a Class B park on Lake Ouachita that has 15 campsites. There is a flush toilet, a boat ramp, a swim beach, a fishing pier, overflow camping (only during important holidays), and no showers.
Nice property, but the grass is a little tall. Nice bathrooms but no showers. Beautiful view of the lake. Fishing enthusiasts make extensive use of this.
There are no hookups, only flush toilets. Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill, lantern pole, and shade.
Highway 270 is 27 miles west of Hot Springs and 8.8 miles east of Mount Ida, followed by 1 mile on Twin Creek Road.
The Corps of Engineers operates 16 campgrounds on Lake Ouachita, ranging from rustic to paved pull-through sites with water and power hook-ups.
Lake Ouachita offers several outdoor activities. From your camping base, you can spend the day boating or fishing on the 40, 000 acres of crystal clear water, hiking, swimming, or picnicking at one of our many designated beaches and picnic spots, or simply sitting back and relaxing by the campfire or in the shade of your tent.
