Getting to Taylor Bay Campground is straightforward but does involve some gravel roads. Head to Canton, KY first, then take US Route 68/State Route 80 west for about 1.3 miles until you see the Energy Lake sign.
Turn right at the sign onto Forest Road 134—it’s gravel, so take it slow. You’ll follow this road for about 9 miles, winding through the woods, until you hit a T intersection.
At the T, hang a right onto Forest Road 135. Keep going and you’ll reach Taylor Bay Campground before too long.
Just a heads up, those gravel roads can be narrow and a little bumpy in places. It’s not a bad idea to drive carefully, especially if you’re hauling a trailer.
