River Run West is open all year. This free campsite is located within the Corp of Engineers Southwestern Division’s Little Rock District. The camping area is near Millwood Lake.

About This Location
$8 per night, but free with senior pass. River Run East is a boondocking delight. There are six level spots, each with a canopy over the picnic table, fire pit, and lantern stand. The entire region is grassland and located near to the Millwood Dam spillway. We were able to effortlessly park our 35′ fifth wheel. There are no water or electrical hookups. A pit toilet is provided by the dam, and garbage cans are available near the camping area.
Campground is located on the shores of the Little River Outlet Channel.
Location: 12 miles east of Ashdown, below Millwood Dam.
Facilities include four gravel sites with no hookups, concrete steps near the spillway that provide fishing access below the dam, vault toilets, bank fishing access, and a boat ramp.
