About This Location
The flush restroom is closed from November 15 to March 14, with no costs charged during this time. A vault toilet will be provided throughout winter. Trash pickup is provided. RVs are allowed, although there are no connections or a dump station at the park.
Buffalo National River has various boondocking campgrounds spread across the park. They range from rudimentary, with just vault toilets, no water, and no designated sites, to developed, with power and water hookups for RV camping.
Ozark is three miles along a graded dirt road off Highway 7 north of Jasper, Arkansas. The dispersed campground is open year-round and offers 31 campsites on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook.
Gravel road in excellent shape, but very steep incline. Travel trailers and underpowered cars may have considerable trouble.
