About This Location
Sunset View Campground is one of two campgrounds in the monument. It is open year-round, and has over 30 tent/RV sites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Oh, and it’s free. The nearby Canyon View Campground is a primitive tent campground with an additional 17 sites, and is only open in the summer months.
The road in is Paved. It is open Year Round. There are 30 or more campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is 28 Feet. You may stay 7 days.
Piñon and juniper trees offer some privacy, and all sites have picnic tables and charcoal grills (no hookups available). Restrooms have flush toilets, and water is available at the campground.
