About This Location
Mill Creek Park is situated on Greers Ferry Lake in the picturesque Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas. The atmosphere is great for family camping, fishing, boating, and hiking.
Facilities: This campsite has 31 non-electric sites. Other amenities include vault toilets and a boat ramp.
Wildlife abounds around Greers Ferry Lake. Visitors frequently observe white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, bunnies, squirrels, and a variety of birds.
Greers Ferry Lake offers numerous recreational activities, including boating, sailing, water skiing, swimming, scuba diving, and fishing. The area’s three National Nature Trails and one multi-purpose fitness route are popular among hikers.
The William Carl Garner Visitor Center, located immediately west of the dam, features displays, a children’s touch table, and a recreation of the world record 40 pound, 4 ounce brown trout taken in the Little Red River downstream of the center.
