About This Location
The free campsite is visually appealing. During the off season, there are few people and no cell reception, which is usual in settings like this. Roads to the south are paved and in fair condition. It’s simply stunning! Always a wonderful area to camp. It is popular among residents and kayakers, so do not stay longer than 14 days.
It is difficult to discover due to the many twisting mountain roads, but it is well worth the drive. The campsite is tiny yet level and located right on the river. It is pretty close to the bridge. However, traffic looks to be light. The boondocking campground is next to some spectacular cliffs and offers a stunning view of Lee Creek, which is surprisingly large for its name. The views are breathtaking, and the location is peaceful and isolated.
Local youths utilize this location to party. A lot of beer cans were left behind.
