La Sombra Campground Taos NM: The road in is Paved. La Sombra Campground is open seasonally. There are 6-15 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is 25 feet. You may stay 14 days at La Sombra Campground.
Popular Taos Canyon site near Capulin Campground and Shady Brook. No Drinking Water. Trailers not recommended due to no way to turn around. Tents and small RVs preferred.
Access to sites 1 through 5 and 9 through 12 require fording a creek. No Garbage Service. Adjacent to Rio Fernando for Fishing. A family unit consists of parking for at least 1 vehicle, a picnic table and a grill.
Directions:8 miles east of Taos along US Highway 64.
