About This Location
You can camp anywhere that’s up to 300 feet from the road, but make sure you’re at least 1 mile past the Day Use camping area! This website and other locations in the Coconino National Forest can be found on this cool GPS-enabled PDF map using the Avenza App!
2016 Motor Vehicle Use Map Camping is okay where you see dots next to the road. The top part of the map is also on the info page. Some places need you to pay every day, but if you get the $10 for life Golden Age Pass, you can go for free! It’s such an awesome deal! The people at the Visitor Center were super nice and helped a lot by suggesting places for Dispersed Camping and telling us the rules!
