About This Location
This campsite does not use a reservation system. First come, first served. This is a high elevation location.
Free Dispersed camping in the Kaibab National Forest’s North Kaibab Ranger District. This is about 20 miles from the park entrance. There are 5 or 6 very nice campsites along this road but only two that are right ON the rim.
Some are very close to the road and very dusty when traffic goes by, but the road is not heavily traveled.
