The road in to this boondocking campsite is Gravel and 7 miles from a paved road. There are 6-15 campsites at this location. The campground has no hookups, no running water, and no dump-station. However, there is a vault toilet.

About This Location
This free campground is located 7 miles down a gravel road off of Hwy 7 north of Jasper, AR. Campground has 14 drive-in campsites and 2 walk-in campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and lantern hook. Clean, beautiful, and remote.
The drive-in boondocking sites are suitable for RV or tent camping but the campground has no hookups, no running water, and no dump station. There is a vault toilet. This is a Pack In/Pack Out facility with no trash service provided.
Five group boondocking sites are available. Group sites #1 and #5 are first-come, first served, while sites 2, 3, and 4 can be reserved by calling the Tyler Bend Visitor Center at (870) 439-2502. No fees are charged.
NEW: Was informed they are in the process of adding many walk-in sites closer to the River and places to get drinking water. Next year there will be a fee for this Campground. It was very Nice. We stayed for 3 nights. (March 2024)
