The road is paved. Dysarts Parking Lot is open year-round. There are 6-15 campsites at this area, with a maximum RV length of 25 feet. You may spend the night at Dysarts Parking Lot.
530 Coldbrook Road, Hermon, Maine 04401. Dysarts Truck Stop Parking Lot. The best location is behind the car wash, across the street from the truck stop/gas/restaurant. Maybe 12 places for vehicles and small RVs. There are a lot of slots for huge RVs, but I’m not sure if they are allocated for trucks. Although it is still a truck stop, it is off the highway and hence quieter. They provide paid showers and laundry inside the building.
Wonderful place with lovely folks. When the employee out front noticed I was having problems walking. He invited me to stay beside the fence in front of their building rather than behind the car wash. It was certainly noisier, but considerably more convenient for me. My meal at the restaurant and coffee the next morning were both fairly priced. Gas was cheaper than at ordinary gas stations, and someone pumped it for you. Definitely a wonderful location.
