Dipping Vat is situated near the west side of Snow Lake. Snow Lake is about 52 miles southeast of Reserve, New Mexico. The campsite provides a range of activities for visitors, including fishing, overnight camping, and hiking. Dipping Vat features a potable water system, which includes a well and a pump. Snow Lake is stocked with trout three times every year: early spring, early summer, and late fall. Follow the Leave No Trace principles.
