Many others are tented along the road, and there was very little encroaching. On Saturday night, there was some loud singing from what I assumed were locals, but it was some ways away. Excellent mobile service, and only three miles from town.
This is a high-elevation place. A local couple at the Bathtub Brewery informed us about this. Ask someone where the Camp May Road is, and you will see numerous campsites as you mount the route. Don’t waste your time getting all the way to the top; instead, choose a cliffside location and settle down for a nice night’s sleep while admiring the beautiful views of the canyon below, as well as the bridge and lit city below! An excellent free campsite!
