About This Location
Directions: From St. Louis: Take Highway 21 south 60 miles to Potosi then, turn right/west onto Highway 8 and travel 16 miles to Berryman Road . . Follow Berryman Road for approximately 5 miles to Floyd Tower Road. Take a left onto Floyd Tower Road and drive about 2 miles to the end of Highway W. Take a right onto Highway W, the entrance to the trailhead is on the right about 1 mile down the road.
The trailhead is located past the campsites, on the right-hand side, down a short gravel path. You will need to cross a creek to get onto the trail.
The campsites are located on the right-hand side of the road. he road in is Paved. Brazil Creek is open Year round. There are 6-15 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is Full. I would have to say that this is primarily a horse camp, and not really great for general camping. There are no bathrooms/privy, no water, no electric.
There are about 10 sites, and all have fire rings, but no park benches. The park service would like $2 a night to stay there. I would have stayed, but, no bathrooms. There is plenty of shade, and is very quiet. Take N south of Bourbon about 10-15 miles, to hwy. W. Turn right onto W, then take that about another 10 miles and camp will be on your right.
