About This Location
Take the unmarked dirt road and leave historic route 66 behind. In no time, you find yourself in a clearing with a circle for a campfire. It seems like it’s big enough for an RV, but it all depends on how the road is! The road goes in a circle and comes back to the main highway. It’s a super calm spot with a really dark sky, perfect for looking at stars! There are no facilities available here.
The road in is Dirt and 1/4 to 1/2 mile miles from a paved road. Route 66 near Crookton, AZ is open all year. There are 1-5 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is 25 feet.
